He shared that his hands had not functioned well, but after he had started using marijuana, their state improved considerably. Stewart expressed gratitude to the laws of California that allowed him to use a special cannabis spray for his condition.

The actor also remarked he had undergone medical examinations by many doctors. But all of them said that it was natural for a man of his age.

Stewart added that lately his doctors only shrugged their shoulders and dismissed the problems he came to them with.

Arthritis is a common disease of the elderly often accompanied with terrible joint pain. Luckily, there is a time-tested method of alleviating the problems caused by rheumatoid arthritis. It is cannabis.

Many of today's physicians are currently sitting on the fence. Unfortunately, hardly any doctors have dived into the existing research on the benefits of cannabis use.

There are no problems with medical marijuana in New York, where Stewart lives. However, difficulties begin when the actor visits the UK, where cannabis is outside the law. Currently, Sir Patrick does not have the solution to that issue.

Stewart received the honorary knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II in 2010. For a long time, the legendary drama actor has been speaking out against domestic violence. His active support is explained by the fact that Stewart had a horrifying childhood with a cruel father.

Now we can also call him the defender of medical cannabis. Sir Patrick can prove the benefits of its use with his own example.

Sir Patrick Stewart can be seen in the new installment of the Wolverine franchise, Logan, which is released in the USA on Friday, March 3. He plays the role of Charles Xavier. It is the 10th chapter of the X-Men film series.
